The Captiva Community Panel receives financial support from various sources. The primary funding source is the Captiva Property Owners Association which holds fundraising events as needed to enable Panel operations. Other sources include grants from Lee County, and some targetted grants from the State of Florida for special projects such as water-quality studies.
